Drawing parallels in socialist-themed art

This Chinese mural named The Railway History of China by Su Xuefeng reminds me of Mexican socialist realist mural painter Diego Rivera‘s work. This is because the posture taken by the key character, the socialist theme and the visual style all draw parallels to Rivera’s murals and smaller paintings.
